ASHE Elizabeth
Graphic Designer, Photographer, Print Specialist
HI - I'M ASHE.
As you can see from my portfolio samples, I’m a bit eclectic in terms of my design style and the types of projects I enjoy taking on. I choose to call it "adaptive."
I have worked for a wide variety of companies, designing everything from luxury beauty product packaging and B2B campaigns to crafting expressive hang tags for teddy bears and laying out annual reports for financial institutions. While most designers will tell you that they aim to please the client, my ultimate goal is to make sure whatever I am designing will resonate effectively with the intended audience. Obviously, I want to keep any client or employer happy as well, but one of the first things I learned in art school was that the target audience is far more important.
A little about me: I like to keep things as simple and real as possible - no fluff and no b.s. So, if you're looking for a designer who will breathe new life and feeling into your brand, or just someone to refresh the visual impact of your materials, I'm your gal! I’m also more than happy doing production work that’s repetitive and uncomplicated. I always use the latest in design software and am certified in a handful of different web design and management platforms as well.
Here's more of a “cliff-notes” version of my background: I have over 16 years of experience as a graphic and web designer, built on the foundation of two degrees in the graphic arts and one degree in psychology. I live in Burlington, VT but have traveled a lot throughout my life. I started with fine arts as a young child – drawing, painting, and writing music. That blossomed into attending vocational school for graphic design and print, which I then pursued through college. Psychology and design go hand-in-hand, and I have always been fascinated with human behavior and the way the mind works. So, I threw in a psychology degree just because I could. I also enjoy many hobbies! I love to cook, I’m outside as often as humanly possible, I knit and crochet, I still draw (mostly graphite portraits) and paint, and I enjoy live music of all kinds.
If you can dream it, I can create it.
